School of Volunteers Online is an open educational platform that will help to broaden the understanding of the volunteer movement and its role in positive changes in various spheres of public life, to establish contacts with community activists in their region, to become agents of change in their community, to contribute to the development of civil society.
Through the courses, participants will learn who a volunteer is and what opportunities volunteering offers.
The classes will also cover how to join international volunteer programs. Participants will learn dialogue techniques and take part in a practical session with governmental and non-governmental organizations.
Our mission is to help make the first step in self-education and finding answers to key questions for each self-sufficient person: “What is my place in this world?” and “What activity or business brings me real admiration and pleasure?”.

The School of Social Volunteering not only popularizes the topic and attracts the attention of citizens, but also promotes the emergence of new initiative groups of citizens and volunteer organizations ready to take responsibility for certain social problems.
Objectives of the School:
- Popularization of the idea of volunteering through work in mass media and social networks.
- Training of volunteers, improvement of their qualification, organization of regular psychological assistance and support of volunteers and volunteer groups. Organization of an environment for communication and creative development of volunteers;
- Internship for new volunteers;
- Education and training of volunteer group coordinators and specialists in volunteer work organization. Assistance to active volunteers in implementing their own volunteer and social initiatives;
- Organization of training for those interested in volunteering through full-time and part-time sessions, cycles of thematic meetings with experts of Russian philanthropy, video recordings available on the Internet;
